Collaborative, site specific installation created with three other members of Durden and Ray (artist-run gallery and curatorial group in Los Angeles). Created for Other Places Art Fair (OPaf), February 3, 2018, at Battery Leary-Merriam at Angels Gate Cultural Center, San Pedro, CA.
The installation, titled "Watch List," includes works that express a heightened sense of anxiety with regard to perpetual government, military, and corporate surveillance. Interpreted through sculpture and video, this concept of surveillance illustrates our twisted technological reality, made unbearable in light of undocumented immigrant crackdowns, harassment of people of color, and other scare tactics initiated by the current administration.
